Job Title: Area Director – Private Duty Nursing (PDN)
Office Location: Dunmore, PA
The Area Director for the Private Duty Nursing (PDN) division is a results-driven leader responsible for aggressively growing and scaling the business across an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a high-performing operator who thrives on building census, expanding market share, and driving revenue.
You will lead multiple offices with a strong focus on sales performance, operational execution, and team accountability. Partnering closely with business development and clinical leadership, you will play a critical role in expanding referral networks, increasing hours of care, and positioning the PDN division as a top provider in the market.
This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on growth, offering a competitive, performance-based bonus structure tied to results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive aggressive growth in census, hours, and revenue across the PDN division
- Own territory performance and hold teams accountable to key metrics and growth targets
- Build, develop, and manage high-performing teams across multiple locations
- Partner closely with business development to generate referrals, open new accounts, and expand market presence
- Identify and execute opportunities for new business, service expansion, and territory growth
- Actively participate in referral development, client meetings, and community outreach
- Ensure strong staffing pipelines to support rapid growth and service delivery
- Deliver an exceptional caregiver experience to improve retention and field engagement
- Maintain full compliance with all regulatory requirements while scaling operations
- Monitor KPIs and quickly adjust strategies to maximize performance and profitability
Qualifications:
- 2–3+ years of leadership experience in home care, healthcare operations, or a related field
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, increasing census, or expanding service lines strongly preferred
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, metrics, and performance goals
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
- Must meet all state and company requirements
