Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for in school 
Service Location: Scranton School District
Shift: Monday - Friday for school hours

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Care: Administer medications, treatments, and first aid to students and staff.
• Health Management: Monitor chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, seizures) and support triage in the school health office.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential health records.
• Emergency Response: Initiate emergency responses (911) and provide care for acute injuries or illnesses.
• Collaboration: Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or school administrator to support the physical and emotional well-being of students.
• Compliance: Adhere to Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing standards, OSHA standards, and district policies. Red Rover +7
• One to One patient care in home/school environment
• Implement and document the plan of care to ensure quality and continuity of care for patient
• Administration of prescribed medication, treatments and therapies
• Patient assessments; coordination of care
• Reports any changes in the client condition to Clinical Manager and physician
• Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members

Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania LPN License.
• Experience in pediatrics, school health, or a related field is typically preferred.
• Criminal background checks and clearances.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification. Tallo +4
