Intake LPN
 For our office located in Dunmore, PA

 

Full time position for LPN to field all phone inquiries and take complete referrals for home services.

Intake nurse is a key position for building relationships in the community with our referral sources.

Excellent customer service and phone skills required

Hours are Monday- Friday: 8:30am to 5pm.

The function of the Intake Coordinator is to process referrals and verify insurances . A primary function of the Intake Coordinator is effective communication skills and customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Makes initial determination if patient can be accepted based on insurance type, patient location, and ability to staff.
• Verify potential patient(s) insurance
• Answers phones professionally
• Completes assignment of initial staff as indicated by referral source
• Maintains a commitment to the company vision which exhibits teamwork, creativity, independent thinking, and a high degree of co-worker support and respect.

Home health background preferred, but not required.
