Job Title: Payroll Manager
Job Location: 113 W. Drinker St., Dunmore, PA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Summary:
The Payroll Manager will oversee and process weekly payrolls for Traditional Home Health Care and its multiple divisions/offices, ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Government regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage payroll operations efficiently. The Payroll Manager will also be responsible for the supervision and support of payroll staff to ensure smooth and accurate payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Payroll Processing: Manage all aspects of payroll operations, including coordinating incoming data from multiple offices to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Supervise Payroll Staff: Provide guidance, training, and support to payroll team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy in payroll processing.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Maintain compliance with wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and company policies while ensuring accurate employee compensation.
- Payroll System Management: Implement, maintain, and review payroll systems to process wages, benefits, deductions, garnishments, and other transactions.
- Employee Records Management: Ensure accurate processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and benefit adjustments.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain payroll records and provide General Ledger support to the Finance team for month-end reporting.
- Employee Support & Communication: Address payroll-related employee inquiries promptly, ensuring clarity and resolution.
- Managerial Collaboration: Work closely with department managers and Care Coordinators to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve any issues.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess payroll processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of three years of payroll management experience
- In-depth knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, compliance, tax regulations, and reporting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (ADP preferred)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
